Shag on Sports Oh no. Not Again.

From the Fanhouse:

When on a Los Angeles-area radio show this past Thursday, the USC alum had this to say about Ohio State fans:

I cannot stand the Buckeyes. It’s amazing to hear what those guys think about that university and what they think about that football program and Tressel and all the crap I gotta put up with being back there. I just can’t wait for two years from now when SC comes to the ‘Shoe and hopefully we’ll have a home game that weekend and I can go up there and watch us pound on them in their own turf. I’m really getting sick of it and I just can’t wait for this game to get here so they can come out to the Coliseum and experience LA and get an old-fashioned Pac-10 butt-whoopin’ and go back to the Big Ten.

While I have no problem with Ohio State football, I’m also a fan of Carson Palmer, and an ardent hater of Buckeye Fans. So you go get ‘em, Carson.

(Follow the fanhouse link, I started a bit of a shitstorm in the comments. Whoops!)

Aaaaahahahahahahaha!

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has been accused of punching an 18-year-old in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle.

heeehehehehehehe

This now Henry’s third incident since he was banned by the NFL for eight games. At this point, we’ve legitimately lost count of his number of arrests.

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAH

The Bengals today waived WR Chris Henry. Bengals president Mike Brown issued the following statement:

“Chris Henry has forfeited his opportunity to pursue a career with the Bengals. His conduct can no longer be tolerated.

Hoooooo boy. How long until Jerry Jones is on the line?

UPDATE: BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Detroit @ Minnesota (-3.5) - I didn’t realize how close to running out the regular Kitna Kounter we were. Wow.
  • Cleveland @ Arizona (PK) - What is the deal with playing in Arizona? THEY’RE THE CARDINALS, FOR THE LOVE OF PETE. For the record, that was a pushout, damnit.
  • Cincinnati (+7) @ Pittsburgh - I stand by my previous prediction: Cincinnati will give up the Dolphin’s only win in the last week of the season.

That puts me 20-19-2 on the season.

I swear to all that is good and holy, I will finish the year with a winning record. Actually, if you think about it, 18-18-3 is winning.

  • Detroit @ Minnesota (-3.5) - This is really a game that the Lions need to stay in the hunt. And I don’t think Peterson will be 100% (nor do I think he SHOULD be playing this week). But Detroit just doesn’t win in Purpleworld.
  • Cleveland @ Arizona (PK) - You read that right, straight picks baby. And while the Browns should with this game, so should have the Lions and the Steelers. How is it that Baltimore is the only team out of the much-improved AFC North to beat the Carindals?
  • Cincinnati (+7) @ Pittsburgh - Oh boy, another slopfest at Heinz Field.

And I’m not picking Monday night because the Patriots are giving up another 20 points.
