It wouldn’t be surprising if he takes a coordinating gig, maybe following the Mike Martz career path. In fact, I could see Matt Millen hiring Billick to resuscitate the Lions’ offense (assuming Martz gets canned … wink, wink).

And that is the rumor swirling around Detroit right now (with Martz, not with Billick). Seems like the kind of move that Millen would make, too. Why, just look at all the good Billick’s “offensive genius” did in Balto!

At least Mike Martz did SOMETHING in his time at St. Louis.
